Library Catelogue

The Central Library, Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Thiruvalla was established in the year 2002, September 18th along with the Medical College with a total area of 10567 sq ft. Approved by National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).

PIMS&RC has a computerized library facility in the Academic Block in 2 floors having a total 400 seating capacity. It is well stocked with international and national journals. Library with an Online Public Access Catalogue enables the users to know about the status of any book in the library. 

The Central Library has a rich collection of 21,000 books, 51 International and 68 National journals, 1573 bounded volumes, 450 theses and 773 CD/DVD collections. Apart from that, the Central Library has an E Database (Clinical Key & DELNET) containing more than 1300 E-books and 685 E-journals. Along with we are having a separate 19 departmental Library which possesses 150 - 200 books in each department. Services and facilities provided by the Central Library are; Reprographic facility, Current affairs service, Medical updates, online database, Career Corner etc
