Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Science & Research Centre was established in the year 2002 vide permission from the Central Government of India (Letter of Permission No. U.12012/49/2001-ME(P-II) Dt. 18.9.2002 of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India) The medical Council of India conducted the final inspection for assessing the facilities of the College and the Hospital and also the conduct of University Examination to assess the standard of examination and thereafter granted recognition to the college vide letter No. MCI-34(41)/2008-Med Dt. 21st May 2008.
The Institute already has all the facilities for training 100 Under Graduate admissions along with 16 Broadspecialities and 3Superspecialities Courses. The College has a total Area of 137079.50 Sq.Ft and the hospital has a total area of 519686 Sq. Ft
