Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (PIMSRC), Tiruvalla, has been re-accredited with an A+ Grade under the Quality Assurance System (QAS) of Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) for the period 2026–2029.
The QAS re-accreditation inspection was conducted on 22 April 2026, and the institution was awarded the A+ Grade on 13 July 2026, reaffirming its commitment to quality and excellence in medical education, healthcare, research, student support, and institutional governance.
The achievement reflects the collective efforts of the management, faculty, administrative staff, students, and all stakeholders of PIMSRC in maintaining and continuously enhancing institutional quality standards.
On the occasion of the re-accreditation, Prof. (Dr.) Mohanan Kunnummal, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), was felicitated by PIMSRC in appreciation of his leadership and support towards strengthening quality assurance in health sciences education.
Rev. Dr. Mathew Mazhavancheril, Director, PIMSRC, and Dr. Santosh R. Pillai, Vice Principal – Student Affairs, were present to receive the honour on behalf of the institution.
The A+ Grade re-accreditation for 2026–2029 marks another significant milestone in PIMSRC’s continued journey towards academic excellence, institutional development, and a culture of quality improvement.
